Discovering the Dordogne area
By participating in the many excursions and cultural visits proposed
by the Comite
Departemental du Tourisme and the Semitour,
you will discover all that Dordogne has to offer.
You will certainly enjoy visiting Perigueux, its
old mansions and medieval streets, its restaurants, and boating
in a « gabarre » along the river Isle.
In addition, APLC organises visits every Thursday
to the most renowned local sites : le pôle international de
la préhistoire des Eyzies de Tayac, la grotte préhistorique
de Lascaux, la ville de Sarlat, les châteaux de Bourdeilles,
de Biron, Puyguilhem, etc...
Excursions are organised for a minimum number of
participants, thereby reducing costs, If you prefer to go on your
own, a multitude of guides and suggested itineraries are available.
Sports
Whether you like to play tennis or golf, ride horses, sail or row,
you can take advantage of the many sports facilities in Périgueux.
You can also explore the area on foot or by bicycle. Maps and itineraries
are at your disposal at our school.
Soirées
You can attend a number of cultural events: concerts, theatre, art
exhibitions, to name but a few.
